Miss International Beauty 2022-23 - Raven Solar
I am not the same person I was 12 months ago! This title has opened so many doors up for me where I was able to meet incredible people and have wonderful experiences, I never dreamed possible. My favorite aspect of wearing this crown is getting involved in the community. In all I made over 22 appearances which included: Mother Against Drunk Driving, Sisters Making a Difference, and Gamers Vs Cancer. I also appeared in the MLK parade. My favorite memory was starting a Toy Donation Drive for Children in San Bernardino, California.
I am grateful to Susan Jeske Irvine who is the CEO of the Ms. America Pageant. I know this title changed my life for the better and I thank you! Through this incredible platform, young adults like me have been given amazing opportunities to develop and connect with our community. What sets this pageant apart is its focus on inner beauty, showcasing how grace and character can make an impact. It goes beyond physical appearance and emphasizes being a role model for others. For me, the crown represents more than just a symbol of beauty. It symbolizes my beliefs, my commitment to the community, and my dedication to making a difference – with or without the crown. This is what makes it so meaningful to me, and I hope it holds the same significance for all of you. I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey and for being a part of this incredible chapter in my life.
Thank you to my “Sister Queen" Jamie Lusung. I have loved watching you grow while making an impact in our community.
The $1000.00 Scholarship I received from the Contestants of the Ms. America Pageant is truly appreciated and will be used to further my dreams of becoming a Speech Pathologist.
And lastly, I would NEVER have been here without the support of my amazing parents. You have been my rock through it all and your unwavering support and guidance have meant the world to me. Thank you to all my mentors, friends and family who have made this journey so special. It has been the greatest honor and privilege to hold this title and I hope I made you all proud. For all the experiences I am so grateful for and memories I have made I will cherish forever. Signing off from one of the most incredible years of my life. It has been my honor! Teen International Beauty 2022-23 - Jamie Lusung
My name is Jamie Lusung and I am your Teen International Beauty 2022. My year as Teen International Beauty has officially come to an end and I wanted to thank Susan Jeske Irvine, CEO of The Ms. America Pageant. She donated the Teen and Miss International Beauty Trademarks to San Bernardino High School, and I would not have gotten in this position if it were not for her and Jaime Rios. Jaime Rios has been the organizer for the Miss & Mr. Cardinal Pageant at San Bernardino High School and has spent over 20 years helping our community. Thank you both for taking on a major role in my high school experience.
I also wanted to thank my mom, Aunt, Brother, and little cousins for cheering me on and being there for me when I needed it. A special thanks to my close friend Raven Solar who is Miss International Beauty for going on this journey with me. It’s been a wild ride and I loved spending it with you.
My final thanks go out to the contestants of the 2022 Ms. America Pageant, I want to say thank you for believing in me and Raven Solar - Miss International Beauty and donating $1,000 dollars towards a scholarship to help pursue our dreams and education. You have all been very sweet, and I will forever see you as my sister queens.
This year as Teen International Beauty 2022 has been amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering at events, cleaning up the community, and singing on stage for others. As Teen International Beauty, I also learned how to love myself in my own skin and appreciate how far I have gone throughout high school to slowly make my way towards adulthood. I encourage you all to remember your value and self-worth because each individual is essentially unique. Please pursue what makes you happy, and do not forget how amazing and loved you are. It has been an honor getting to meet and interact with every single one of you I have come across. Each and every one of your presences is inspiring. I will always remember these special moments in my life, and I hope you will too. Good luck to all the finalists in this year’s pageant!
